DTN COMMENTS:  A light trade is taking place in several areas at this 
time. Southern live deals are marked at $238 to $240, $3 to $5 higher 
than last week's weighted averages. Northern dressed business is being 
reported sold at $375 to $378, $6 to $9 higher than last week's weighted 
averages.  

Beef cutouts are mixed near midday (choice 366.44 -1.22, select 363.00 
+2.28) with light to moderate box movement (38.15 lds of choice cuts, 
3.95 lds of select cuts, 4.97 lds of trim, and 9.61 lds of ground). Live 
cattle futures are mostly sharply lower, while feeder issues are sharply 
to significantly lower near the top of the noon hour.
